Renting-to-own is an option that allows you to select a specified period of time during which you pay for a shed monthly until it becomes yours to own. At Golden State Buildings, you can choose between a 24-month, 36-month, 48-month, or 56-month payment term, and after that, the shed is yours! If you pay for the shed in full within 90 days of the purchase date, you can purchase your shed at cash price!
All of our portable sheds, including our Elite, Deluxe, and Value shed lines, are available for rent. This means you can choose from various styles such as garden, cottage, ranch, barn, and lean-to sheds. Unfortunately, we can not offer rent-to-own sheds that need to be built on-site.

There are a number of benefits to selecting rent to own sheds. For one, no credit check is required. In addition, they break up the payment of a shed into smaller, more manageable monthly payments, placing less financial stress on you. They immediately put extra storage space in your backyard and allow you to try out our sheds. If you no longer need the shed, you can notify the RTO company, and they will arrange for it to be picked up. If want to keep your shed, it’s yours at the end of the specified payment term!

If you cannot keep up with your payments, the shed will go into “pickup status,” meaning that it will be picked up from your property since you are no longer paying for it. If you can’t afford the payments or don’t want to keep paying for the shed, contact us, and we’ll have the shed picked up.
Golden State Buildings has partnered with Enhancify to provide you with financing options for any of our buildings! Simply fill out this application form to see if you prequalify for financing. A soft credit check will be done to see if you prequalify for a loan, but it will not affect your credit score in any way. Rates start at 9.99% and we offer up to 20 year terms. You can pay for part of your building in cash and finance the rest.
